  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste
  • 2 teaspoons spicy mustard
  • 2 teaspoons mayonaise
  • Chili powder to taste
  • 2 teaspoons salt


  • - Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  • - Place drumsticks in baking dish
  • - Mix together water, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, butter, salt, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and chili powder together in a bowl and whisk all ingredients thoroughly
  • - Coat drumsticks with mix and cover with foil
  • - For about one hour, cook drumsticks in preheated oven until juices run clear (turn chicken halfway through)
  • - The drumsticks are cooked when color is no longer pink, and an instant thermometer should read 165 degrees F
  • - Let sit for 10 minutes and serve"

  1. dont get it. Made the sauce. it was just liquid not thick at all. It says “Coat drumsticks with mix and cover with foil” but if I coat the wings it leaves a huge bowl of liquid.
