Drink Review: Chivas Regal 18 Year Old

This special bottling of 18-year-old Chivas Regal was designed by the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen. It comes with a beautiful cap that doubles as a cup.

Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Review:

Chivas Regal Is a Beautiful, Smooth Scotch.

This Scotch serves as proof that distilleries can give their scotches a little spin without detracting from their flavor.

Chivas Regal is an all-around nice Scotch. It exhibits excellent quality and many different flavors during the course of its tasting. It is also very smooth, which is a refreshing change for some seasoned Scotch drinkers. It is a little risky to drink without a full stomach, especially for first timers, because it may feel a little too light to them.

If I felt like Scotch again, this is the Scotch I would start with. The smooth quality of the scotch is refreshing. It has no aggressive at all, making it a great starting place for whisky newbies. Though its smoothness is a little off-putting for most, I feel that Chivas Regal is a great balance between flavors due to its complexity of scents, tastes and aromas.

I would recommend drinking it neat or with a little water or soda or with a little ice if you are not fond of the scotches strong natural taste. It comes in a limited edition bottle that makes it a more original gift. The bottle looks very classy and it is something that would be a conversation piece at any party.

Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Is Pretty Good Stuff.

If you’re looking for a good Scotch, then Chivas Regal 18 Year Old is a good choice. As long as you’re not a newbie to Scotch, this will be a good choice.

The simple fact that Chivas Regal is one of the oldest scotch distilleries tells you what you need to know. It is a scotch that knows how to be real. In other words, you don’t have to worry about Chivas Regal using any dyes or artificially enhancing its scotch. It is as real as they get. Don’t be scared of its complexity because you can and will enjoy it – just be ready and willing to taste its many flavors.

The 18-year-old scotch in the bottle is no different from other Chivas Regal scotches I’ve tried. It is all honest tasting but also very smooth at the same time. I love its smoothness. No aggressive at all. And yes, this is my again, Chivas the Real. They can give it some generic taste and still have this by itself and trust me, it’s still one of the best scotches I have tasted. Its 18-year-old taste is exactly like their older ones, but the scotch is smoother, indeed.

I would recommend it very strongly to anybody that is going to be tasting the likes of Macallan and Glenfiddich. If you are new at all to scotch, Chivas Regal 18 Year Old may be the best option for you. But Chivas is also one of the best scotches that there is. Try it for yourself and you will see what I mean.

Being around the world already. Over so much time the old has simply become the new. Chivas Regal

The romantic age of legends. Therefore, the reputation of fine scotches has expanded to ten time more people in the world. In this heady testy era, Chivas Regal remains a standard expression of an era. If your heart still holds in the old steady life creed, Chivas Regal may be seen as the essential.

Chivas Regal Review:

The 18 year old scotch is one of my favourites. It may be the note of all others, yet it has everything of being at the absolute peak.

I strongly recommend drinking or adding to your Scotch collection – it worth every cent.

After many years of waiting, Chivas Regal finally comes back with the 18-year-old (1832). 18 years ago, Alexander McQueen used this as his choice for his last collection of brand new scotches, called, “The Collection: 18 Years Old”. This 18-year-old is a more of a limited edition for his collection, but a regular still good scotch from Chivas Regal. It’s kind of like you only getting a little bit of the best of everything.

The aroma is truly beautiful, with a very mature smelling scotch. Upon looking at the bottle, I was so surprised to see it has the exact same appearance of the oldest and rarest on of the Macallan 18-year-old, the “James MacArthur”. The only difference is that this Chivas Regal has an “1832” printed on the front, in the same black lettering.

The appearance of the scotch is quite good, with nice, smooth dark amber color, with tiny, hard to notice, droplets of water in the bottom of it. The aroma of the scotch is really nice, with the same or similar aroma of the Macallan 18-year-old.
